Hello Peter,

what to take or do depends upon your intentions, aspirations,
       and expectations at the show...
is there a class prize? do you want to win? are you there to
SEE other cars and talk to their owners, or SHOW yours and brag
on it? do you plan to open the hood? how much do you CARE
       about what others think? ...

i personally usually vote for people who brought their beater
because i feel it is more important to BE there WITH the car no
matter the condition. I NEVER vote for a car that has tires
treated with Armour-All or the like. Tires should look like
TIRES. just my opinion, and no-one else shares it that i've
       talked to, still........

Wash the car, get some McGuires instant detailer to use after
the drive. vacuum it out, if you intend to show it with the
       doors open.
if you're going for a prize take an easel and get
some "materials" to put on it.. restoration pictures, period
ads, etc.. throw in a stuffed animal or a cute scale model. get
british and american flags and hang one on one side and one on
the other... get some fancy crowd control rope and pillar
things like they use at the banks and make YOUR SPACE.

if you just want to BE there, don't do anything to the car,
just drive on over! in any case take
       SHADE!!!!!!!!
       CHAIRS
       Something to read?
       Beer
       Cat CHOCK?
$$$$$ to buy the traditional fish and chips from the
convenient overpriced vendor who supports BRITISH CARS!
