I have this annoying miss, this time it's not at an idle, it is only at
5500 and up. It's not just a miss, the engine is breaking up, popping,
spitting, and sputtering bad.
I have reset the points and it's fine for about a mile then it comes
back. I have swapped dizzys, the only spare I have must have issues so I
put the original one back in with new points and cond. 1 mile and the
miss starts but again only in the top rpm range. It idles great.
I have replaced the Weber jets too, still missing.
Anybody have any ideas?
It sure sounds like ignition.
I don't have a spare coil to swap out at the moment.
New cap, rotor, and wires.
