Buster,

My local Ace Hardware store has a drawer full of brushes for electric
motors. Try the oldest hardware store in your general vicinity first.

When Dad's almost 60 year old Thor 1/2 drill motor died a few years ago,
I took it into two different repair shops that charged me $50 to tell me
it could not be fixed. If there was anything Dad taught me, it was
never throw anything away that even might be fixed or used in the future.

Today, Frank came out for the BusterCluster, and we got to talking about
the crappy tools being pawned off on the public today. I got down
Dad's ancient Thor and told him the story of it being beyond repair.
So, what's the first thing Frank do but plug it in and turn it on. It
runs!!!! Oh, the brushes are arcing a little, but it is still actually
running!!!! It is the same drill the boneheads had said could not be
fixed. So, Frank takes a couple of minutes to take it apart, clean up
the brushes, and it is doing even better. Now, all I have to do is find
a place to get some brushes, or get some that can be fashioned to work!!!!

These clowns don't have to repair anything, they make good money just to
tell you it can't be repaired!!!!!!

!@#$%^&*()_+....or words to that effect!
