Yes he does various types of stampings, including like you are describing,
raised from the back. Also has various sizes, so for example if you have a
large capital "D" followed by a smaller, but still capitalized, letter "A", he
can reproduce that. I had my original engine plate but had been bent and the
holes enlarged, and he recommends sending the original to help him reproduce
it perfectly, even if there was some flaw in the original, he'll copy that too
if you want. He does have blanks for simple metal strip type plates, but ones
with printed-on information like the chassis plate you have to provide, all
the current blank chassis plates that I've seen all suck as far as
originality. He does have some guidelines he needs to follow for chassis
plates because of the possiblity of fraud.
