Why not? In  NJ we just dump it along the fence to keep the weeds down.
It washes into the street, down the storm drain and into the bay, the 
fish eat it and grow real big! They even have a glowing tinge to them.

BTW, I use paint thinner in my parts washer. Cheap, works, and doesn't 
smell too bad.
