 I agree.

I used to do a lot of highway commuting and had a 3/4 bar which allowed for 
more excellent directional stability at speed(more initial understeer....moves 
oversteer and "tossability" up into the 80mph+ range) however, no matter what 
they say, the bar "firms" the ride to one
extent or another, especially noticeable
at town speeds.

Today, doing town driving only, I use no bar at all for a softer ride in 
consideration of the quality of some secondary road sufaces in the "mini-NYC" 
Stamford, CT. It ain't what it used to be in this respect.

Much easier on the suspension and my bony butt. :)
