All,
I am installing a '70s 1275 into my '62 mkII Sprite and plan to reuse the
old vertical flow radiator.
Do I just use the thermostat housing and top and bottom hoses from my old
1100 engine?
Or do I need the housing and hoses from an early 1275 from a vertical flow
system?
Also, I need to replace the water pump, are the high-flow pumps worth it, or
should I stay with a standard unit?
Any suggestions?
It looks like I can get a stock unit from Advance Auto parts for $35.
