I have had numerous requests asking "How can I help with SJ08." So I
thought I would put out this two part list to all to read instead of sending
it out one at a time.
Cindy recently told me often she does not know the extent to which I want to
do something for our Meets. She can't read my mind. So this list will give
you some insite into what I am thinking about for SJ08.

What Does It Take? A - II (35 Items)
A[ ] Official Program.
B[ ] Contacting businesses for donations.
Banquet
C[ ] Tickets
D[ ] Tucks to banquet .... it is the 50th
E[ ] People possibly must wear some clothing with gold. Gold bow tie,
cummerbund?
Driving Events
F[ ] Driving to various locations for meals in mass. Not get lost maps.
G[ ] Rally.
H[ ] Autocross - timers, course poster, PA system. Trophies, Places?
Cones. Starter has wireless microphone. Score board.
I[ ] Funkhana.
J[ ] Mini Bugeye on lawnmower body. Use for Funkhana?
K[ ] Driving maze contest.
Chase Vehicles for Drives as a Back-Up
L[ ] Merryman Modifications, Kelby Steel, Motor Head back up incase of
problems with any sprite mechanics.
M[ ] Who has chaise trailers available for problems with Sprites. Make
a list with cell phones.
Awards, Prizes & Gifts
N[ ] Recognition gifts for our Meet workers.
O[ ] Helpers hats, rain jacket, Sprite 50 gold glitter embroidery?
P[ ] Recognition gifts for people who have been at all the past meets.
Neck Ribbon with medallion? Also, what SPRITE Newsletter Meets have you

Give-Away Car
AA[ ] Some PA licensed auto shop to inspect Give-Away car.
BB[ ] Metal red ribbon ready for give-away car with gold and glitter
this time or all gold.
CC[ ] Officiate give-away.
Auctions
DD[ ] Chinese Auction - (1 lb clear plastic containers with slit in top.
List of contributors printed. Poster for people who won. End of day or
banquet.)
EE[ ] Auction - (Obtain good auctioneer. Stuff to auction off from
vendors, businesses and private enthusiasts. Some moneys go to decrease
registry fee for everybody. Checks, cash, visa OK. Check line, Cash Line,
Vias line to get people out fast. List of contributors printed out. Name
of Registrant to put cash in that we make to off set registration fee.
Regalia
FF[ ] Sales of past events regalia to help with gasoline costs.
GG[ ] Help Get Regalia Together for pre-meet sale.
HH[ ] Help obtain and be responsible for tote bags printed with a gold
Sprite arrow on them.
II[ ] Help with Regalia. - People to help with the actual sales during
the meet. Sticker each piece with letter and price. Get cash register and
know how to use it. Credit card slide machine. Money change. List of
donors and those who provide regalia for sale. Write to clubs and
businesses. Will sell their stuff for a very small %.
