So the shifter bangs into the side of the hole in the top of the shift cover.
The transmission is centered - I can't move it any to the right. What is the
solution?
Paul A's kit has the solution... He cuts the shifter, shortens it and welds it
to the bottom end so that it is side-by-side of the original. Think "stub" for
the bottom piece and weld the shifter to it on the right side so it is moved
over the width of the shifter.
