You should have plenty of clearance. Are you sure you didn't get a Mini manifold? You might be able to flip the air cleaner base over if it isn't symmetric. I wouldn't modify the already marginal Spridget hood. Get the proper manifold if you don't already have it. On the linkage, you must have a cable in there somewhere as the motor will move under operation conditions. Several linkage kits are available for Webers. Cheers, Derf |
