For jetting, you might take a look at Vizard's recommendations per his book on
tuning Series A engines utilizing Webers and Dellortos, Andy.

Vac. advance offers more complete combustion under conditions of light
throttle cruise and thus, slightly better
fuel economy in this configuration.

As a practical matter, you probably won't
notice the difference considering you've
upped the compression ratio (better torque
in accordance with selected cam profile) in
any event.

Simply "cap off" (seal) the vac. advance
port at the distributor and set timing to
book spec. to begin with.

Depending upon compression ratio, you'll
be looking for no more than 34 degrees total advance and 30-32 might be a
better idea considering today's "garbage"
unleaded octanes, assuming a running water temp, of 180F or so.
