If you're going in again later, I wouldn't mess with it. Just put on fuel
filter. ...bill in Oregon
(I wouldn't use a sealer. Appears that the new gas formulations will eat
it.)

Dropped the gas tank on my midget to install a new fuel gauge sender.
The tank is in surprisingly good shape, but has some gum and varnish.

What's the best and easiest way to clean the crap out and it back together?

If it makes a difference, this is on a 1979 with vapor recovery and screen
sock on the pickup tube.

Thanks.

Lee

PS: I'll do the Eastwood sealer routine when it gets warmer. Just trying for
a quick clean.
