You might want to clean and retighten all of the electrical connections in
that circuit. Check that your battery is up to snuff. Most Spridget owners
tend to keep their batteries a long time. Next would be the starter switch
or whole starter. Start cheap/easy to check; then work into the more
expensive replacements. .bill in oregon

Its not the starter its more like she's not getting enough current.  If I
let her sit for a minute or 5 and then as she starts to try and catch i hit
the gas then she turns over and runs.

Besides the problem you're describing; you say when you went to restart it,
"...she wouldn't turn over." If the engine would not turn over with the
starter, you have a starter problem or something is starting to seize.

I think you clean the K&N filters by washing them, then soaking them in oil.

An air leak that is getting worse, could cause idle to drop and engine stop.
Check all carb mounting bolts, and where the intake manifold bolts to the
