So this is still a Lucas electronic DM series that won't run properly
without the ignition amplifier it's designed to work with and isn't fitted?
Or
is it not a Lucas electronic DM series distributor but the notoriously
unrelieable Lucas electronic DE series distributor with a built in amplifier?
Enquiring minds want to know.

I need to get with Rich to determine the timing characteristics. I don't
have a light (but will soon after this). I do recall the timing was
"Jittery" when BillM and I set it. It seemed to bounce around a lot. We'll
get
the light on it soon and report back. Thanks for all the help, guys.
