The question was "Does the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution
guarantee the rights of Americans to own guns". It was NOT do you think it
SHOULD guarantee the rights of Americans to own guns, or would you LIKE it
to guarantee the rights of Americans to own guns.
Loose interpretations of the Constitution and legislating from the bench is
as bad for car owners as it is for gun owners. If we give them this, what
will they come after next? There are legitimate ways to change the
constitution. There are no legitimate ways to sidestep the constitution.
