The jack cross member is basic 2" U channel. Check your local sheetmetal
shop. I had them made up for around $20.
The jack hole tube is a piece of pipe, I made mine out of steel pipe and
some scrap metal.
Also the sheet metal shop may have some scraps. A whole sheet of 20
gauge costs $55 and it is 4' x 10', my shop will sell 1/2 a sheet for
$27 or sell me weird cut offs they will never use or bent, slightly
rusty metal for a few bucks.
They did the (metal) brake work for me on my Healey 3000 frame,
basically a new frame for the car for about $150 cash and carry.
Look in the phone book for metal ducts or sheetmetal shops.
Tell them you are patching up an old car, they will help.
My shop is union, and they told me it will cost union rates to fire up
and use the machines so the guys made my stuff on their coffee break so
I didn't have to pay the going rate.
