here's one idea, ... I don't know if it's any good or not, just a
flash, but how about putting washers under the motor mounts?
They're usually 1/8" thick, ... is that enough? .. double them
up, raise the engine 1/4".... shouldn't change the angle too much
between the engine and the mounts themselves, but might just get
you enough clearance...
