If you look at the damaged area there is very little lower down suggesting 
it may not have been underfloor fuel lines.  The carbs are still clean and 
don't have melt lines or areas which suggests it wasn't carb / fuel under 
bonnet related.  The major damaged area is in the seat / cabin area.  This 
could be  discarded smoking material, electrical, a rather hot sexy session 
or replacement Lucas parts (you can't be serious all the time!).  It was 
probably extinguished otherwise the fibre glass resins may have burnt 
further.
