Waaaaay back that was one of the early things I've done because it sure seems
just exactly like a screwed up firing order but I keep asking and researching
and it seem alike I"m doing it right,

FO 1-3-4-2 , each plug wire has corresponding number of zip ties on it at
plug end and #1 is marked at distributor cap end

#1 is at front of car

Distributor rotor rotates counterclockwise as viewed from the right side of
the car

#1 is at TDC when markers line up and both intake and exhaust valves are
closed (both rocker arms are not pressing on valves) (No it's not the dial
gauge way but it's close enough)

This is why it's driving me nuts!

Lester

.. I know that it's going to be something simple but I haven't found it yet.
