But I do know about a rattle in the door a Chevrolet customer was
complaining about. After being brushed off a few times, the agency
finally removed the door panel and found an empty coke bottle and a GM
wrench. True story. Guess the assembler was taking a lunch break. But,
this is not allowed in England, as the workmen are not given breaks (just
ask). So that tape is an integral part of the structure. Do NOT remove
it, the entire door locking mechanism only functions if it is in place.

BTW: I am suspicious that the British were importing "Continental"
workers at that time from low wage East European countries, The name is
probably an anglicized alias of his real name "Hans Rienhardt", who is
wanted by the Mossad for various charges.
