Aluminium oxide is disolved from bauxite using hot concentrated caustic soda
with very high PH. (nasty stuff). This will also eat the aluminium up. Don't
know how much you'll need, and it should not effect the cast iron. (No
guarantee's!)

I would firstly fill the pot's with a combination of kerosene and
penitrating oil (CRC) for at least a week, then find a BIG hammer and solid
piece of pipe just a little smaller in size as the bore. The fact is the
pistons may not be salvagable, and you'll have to bore the cylinders out anyway.

If all fails find another block. - Good Luck
