Now wonder. You got the brand name wrong. It's the "Hoover" you should have
gottten, not the "Hoosier". A common mistake for the novice. I get about 14
amps of draw, double brushes, 7 built-on attachments, auto depth control, side
suction, and it really "eats" up the path, although I can't say I leave much
dust behind.
Anyway, My new Sunbeam 12 speed is working fine. Got it in BRG, with stainless
bowls. Gets over 6,000 rpm without a miss. Thinking of adding the optional
heater module that does bread.
