Edelbrock is selling a whole range of stainless turbo-type mufflers for
various exhaust sizes.  The cost of the material for the tubing can be
reduced by looking at the aircraft surplus materials stores.  There is a
good one in the Glendale-Burbank (CA) area.  The expensive part is
getting them formed, wrinkle free.  Takes a lot more force than the
general tube bender, and you need one with fitted mandrels to avoid
wrinkles.

Look for more advice on this list, some have done it themselves.
Aluminized sets can be had for half the price of the English set, which
doesn't appear to be carried by anyone now.
