Giving up a Ducati for a Tiger?? You ARE serious!
If Norm gave you a ride, that probably means you live in the Bay Area. If
so, join STOA and get one of the members to go out and look at cars with
you. I am fairly confident you will find someone that will help. I would
even go far as to suggest that you offer Norm a couple of $20's to go out
and survey the car with you.
For your sake, I am very glad you asked first, rather than jump right in.
You may have helped yourself to avoid some major pitfalls. Case in point: I
recently went out to look at an early Tiger with a friend who was very
interested. After looking at the car, I concluded that though he could get
the car at a real nice price, to put it to the condition he wanted, he would
be better off buying one already in that condition.
Just my opinion.
