Well, everbody has jumped on my suggestion that slicing up a Mark II tiger
to shoehorn a huge(er) engine into it "borders on the criminal", so I would
like to retract it and clarify my intent.

To hack up a rare and unusual car simply to see just how big an engine you
can fit into at the very least shows an incredible lack of imagination. If
you want pursue that approach, might I suggest mounting a hemi in the back
seat of a Volkswagen beetle? the result will certainly be at least as
"awesome", and they are still making beetles.

Some have suggested that it is an an egineering challenge, and as such is a
worthwhile effort. I submit that there is no more "engineering" involved
than seeing how many pink plastic flamingoes you can cram into your front
yard.
