I have been running the Flowmasters with 2" pipes and the "H" crossover for
several years and about 3000 miles now with no cracks or problems (just
lucky I guess). When I installed the whole system, I did buy new hanger
mounts for everywhere. Maybe that makes the difference?. I even got into a
fender bender last year without cracking anything in the exhaust system. I
have given some thought into just what I will do when I have to drop the
pipes for whatever reason. In that event I plan to cut the center of the "H"
and put a sleeve on it with clamps to go back. I will also cut the bottom of
the header pipe (just prior to the frame holes) and install 2-bolt flanges
with an asbestos (or equivalent) gasket. Hopefully that will be a long time
in the future. I still love the sound it puts out (sound activated
testosterone generator).

p.s. Has anyone heard of ANY planning toward a European Y2000 event/rally?
