Here is a message from a guy in the NorCal Shelby club who had his car
stolen. Keep an eye out for it. We can all sympathize with him on this one.

More info on the stolen car:

Hi Club,

      As most of you have heard by now, my 1993 Cobra was stolen yesterday.
It was stolen from the parking lot of my place of work [Sun Microsystems] in
Newark. Since there are really 3 possibilities here (joyride,
transportation, chop-shop), and since the worst of those three is most likely
the case, I thought I'd post all the add-ons I had on my car. If you see
these parts for sale, please let me or the Newark police department know:

* Autopower 4pt rollbar, with bolt-in "X" cross bar (bar is black, but had
red padding)
* White face gauges (93 Cobra's originally did NOT come with white face
gauges)
* Blue SIMPSON race harnesses (factory belts were removed from the car)
* Fire Extinguisher mounted BEHIND THE PASSENGER SEAT
* Pro-5.0 shifter WITH STEEDA Tri-Ax shift lever (odd combination)
* Maier Strut Tower brace (MODIFIED/LENGTHENED TO CLEAR COBRA INTAKE)
* Global West Camber/Caster plates
* Monroe GP struts and shocks
* Eibach Progressive Rate springs
* BLUE Suspension Techniques front swaybar (new ones are GRAY, mine is BLUE)
* GRAY Suspension Techniques rear swaybar (again, an odd combination)
* Maximum Motorsports lower K-member brace (one of the bolts was slightly
bent)
* BLUE Polyurethane Offset rack bushings
* Lakewood Driveshaft Safety Loop. Brand-new condition, JUST installed.
* Maximum Motorsport stainless steel brake lines
* Global West Sub-frame Connectors
* Eldelbrock/Hotchkis rear lower control arms (actually reads
"Eldelbrock/Hotchkis"
   on the RED arms (once again, this is rather unique/odd)
* Ford HD upper control arms
* Maximum Motorsport panhard bar--WELDED onto frame rails (NOT bolted at all)

Items that were IN the vehicle, but not attached:

* Ray-Ban BALLORAMA sun glasses (Tortoise Shell frames--not produced for about
   10 years now
* BUCCI sunglasses (black frames, bronze lenses)
* 3 "D" Cell Maglite Flashlight, RED in color
* Mini Leatherman tool, in small, black case
* Small, green plastic tackle box with jumper cables (brand new condition),
and 3
   flares

      Please, if you see any of this stuff showing up, or--better yet--my
entire car, PLEASE call the police or myself. I appreciate all the help, and
also really admire the support all of you have shown me.

      Sincerely,
      Kenny Baxter
      #277
