Great stuff Theo.  Look forward to seeing your test results.

One point for the future. If you need a new sender and are worried about
getting a good ground, Smiths makes a sender with a pos and neg. or
ground.  I used a brass bushing in my Edelbrock F4B manifold, screwed in
the sender, ran one wire to ground, and the other to the gauge.  It
works, and soon with Theo's testing, I will know of the accuracy of the
gauge and sender.

Connection to the manifold is secure, without leaks.  So no tapping,
drilling, welding, etc. to the manifold connection.
