If you want to make the Bubble flair using only the Double flair
hardware,
go to a wrecking yard and find a steel adapter, or heavy fitting that
accepts the bubble flair. I got one from an old British Lockheed
Servo. After you do the first, <> part of the operation with a "good"
forming tool, you can run the flair into the steel adapter with some oil
and or anti-seize on the nut and threads. Tighten it quite tight (don't
strip the nut) and it will make the bubble end very close to the correct
shape.
