I've heard that Sony has an infra red feature on some of their video cameras
that let you shoot in the dark. You are supposed to be able to see folks by
their body heat, or whatever. It supposedly has some rather naughty uses,
too. However, has anybody ever tried looking at their Tiger engine
compartment with one of these cameras? Can you see anything useful heat wise?
Or does this camera look at the wrong part of the spectrum to be of any use?
If it worked, it might be a useful tool in tracking down what's hot and
what's not, finding a clogged radiator or whatever.
