Dr. Palmer,
Thanks for your evaporation test in cool San Diego county. Here in the
105 F Valley, I can here the gas evaporating as it idles - on my
HOLLEY!!!!!! twin bowl!!!!
In the morning it goes
rattle.rattle.rattle.rattle.rattle.rattle.--click--click--click---click---click---click----click----click----click------click----------click.
Stop.
THEN it starts immediately when the starter is engaged.
Otherwise, it starts after about 1/2 the clicking.
In fact, the "rattle" is more like a Thompson sub-machine gun going off
at the start until the PUMP even starts to see some fluid from the tank.
But, it's certainly nice to hear from the cooler climates.
