Had to replace the water pump on my 66mk1a. Removed the radiator and figured
while its out I would have it cooked and checked. Decided to also remove the
heater core. What do think of dipping and pressure testing the core. Can it
be repaired? It seems to be leaking out of one connection. There was also a
gasket/weather stripping wrapped around and stuck on both sides of the core
and its shot. Where can I get this stick on stuff and is there anything I
should be aware of while taking on the cooling system?
