Subject: Unilite Ignition ?

Years ago I bought an unused Mallory Unilite ignition kit at a yard sale
for all of $1.75. Since it was for a Chevy(can I say that word hear?)
distributor I have never had a use for it. However, after looking on Ebay
and seeing this same item going for over $60 (or more) I was wondering if
the module is the same for all cars and only the rotating beam breaker is
different.
If anyone out there in Tiger land has one of these my box number is 501,
there is a number 8 on the "mallory" side of the beam and two offset number
1's on the "unilite" side of the beam. The center to center on the mounting
holes is 1 - 9/16th's. The center point of the beam is approx. 3/4" above
the base. (note: I am not opposed to adapting this to fit if needed and it
is feasible)
What I am asking is does the "electronics" match that used in the ford small
block and where does one find the rotor or rotor adapter to break the beam.
Thanks for anyone who can give input. Regards, Tom Witt B9470101
