Folks-
Unfortunately, I am zero help with Andy's master cylinder question, but it
reminded me of a need that I have. My brake fluid reservoir continues to
collect tiny particles of junk. I think it was from all the humidity
generated by the dryer in the garage. Well, we fixed that problem by venting
the dryer to outside. Now I am going to flush the entire brake system with
fluid to clean it out.
Here is my need - the cap on the reservoir doesn't seal very well and I'm
looking to find a new reservoir with new cap. Yes, I have replaced the old
rubber in the cap after soaking it in fluid overnight and then installing
it. It just doesn't seem to seal anymore. I think someone screwed it on too
tight and broke the last plastic thread. Anyway, are these reservoirs easy
to find or does someone want to sell an old one? It is on a late Mk1a.
