Jim,

There are many routes to take as Larry pointed out. Certainly the easiest
is to return the system to stock with a rebuilt brake booster. If you
choose not purchase a stock brake booster you can buy a reproduction early
thunderbird brake booster and it will bolt right in. This can be had from
Larry's thunderbird and mustang parts 714-871-6432 or on the web at
www.larrymustang.com

If all you want is a bit more stopping power without getting crazy on the
mods you might try switching to Porterfield brake shoes. I switched my car
and found it to be a huge improvement over stock.

porterfield Enterprizes 949-548-4478 Costa Mesa Ca

Front brakes AP76 R4S 69.00 pair / set
Rear Brakes AP234 Shoe R4S 79.00 Set

it bolts right on and I am very happy with the results. I think with this
change and a brake booster you will be very happy.
