Hi, Steve.

As indicated in my email, I am referring to the radio pictured on your
website (TU) under Factory Tiger LAT Options, LAT-72: Motorola Radio Kit.
On this part of your web page, there is the following comment:

"This picture is a good representation of the LAT 72 radio option. This
option came with a push button or manual station selection choices. The
radio was also sold by Rootes in England and Europe using tuning selections
appropriate to the destination country's radio frequencies. The particular
model shown does NOT have the radio station selection face that was common
in the US, as it appears to have two bands (upper and lower index marks), so
may have been a non-export version"

The radio I have a picture of is very close in appearance to the LAT-72 that
you have pictured on you website. The only difference is in the chrome
faceplate surround. The one that I came across has a slight
horizontal-lined pattern on it instead of just the plain chrome. The radio
itself, however, seems to be an exact match. I have enclosed both the
picture from your site and the one I found so you can compare.

Shaun

Shaun,

I do not know which photo's of the LAT radio you are referring to, as
many different, and incorrect, versions have been posted. The REAL LAT
radio was an AM 5 pushbutton Motorala (England) radio with NO additional
Short or Long Wave bands, common to European offerings, and often pictured.

I think that a manual only version was available, but will definitely
defer to Norman's pronouncements on this one.
