| Steve, The original switch does have straight threads (British?) that are close enough to (I think it's) a 1/8" pipe thread to mix them up. Also, I believe the original gasket was a flat copper washer. For both safety and reliability reasons, I still recommend eliminating the hydraulic switch in favor of a mechanical switch at the brake pedal. Bob Palmer rpalmer@ucsd.edu rpalmerbob@adelphia.net |
