Hi Steve,
If you are referring to the fulcrum pin fix I wrote, you can use mild steel
1010 to 1020 for the reinforcements. The fix lowers the stress so you can use
stock or good acceptable replacement pins. The pins suggested by Derek White
are even stronger.
