Sage thinkers in Chrysler, noting the probable disastrous long term effects of
canceling the Tiger, issued the rivets to allow an income stream that would
forestall the otherwise inevitable company bankruptcy. If the Feds had found
those rivets, they could have saved themselves a lot of money!
