Yes Brent, contact Theo Smit, and get your tach converted to a more 
modern mechanism.  I went through all sorts of stuff to get an accurate 
Tach, and the final solution is to get Theo to convert it and not have 
to worry about it again. 

I know, as I have had one for over 3 years.
