Nope. Didn't question Bill, who helped Shelby developed the Shebly Cobra
conversion of the AC Roadster.
The end result was, by direction of Shelby, they were bent. Haven't
quite figured out exactly what Bill meant, perhaps "it didn't work all
that well even after we made it fit by bending", which is what we
observe today. His descriptione of a sharp angle turn is right on the
mark (I, IA, and II !)
