I am still trying to decide exactly what I am going to do on my car. I found
a set of Pie Cutter LAT 9 mags. I found an original 260 and am still
collecting the few remaining pieces I need, like the air cleaner. Not sure if I
am
going to use the 260 but am glad I found it.

I definitely am not going to go radical. I also definiatley am not going 100%
concours original. While I have no problems with the people that go either of
these ways, they are not for me.

I have always wanted this car and am not afraid to make it nice and spend
some time and money on it. I am going to do a ground up restoration and write
about it. Probably go with some mild engine and suspension tweaks in a nearly
stock looking car. Still not sure if I even want the scoop of a LAT hood. Would
sure like the lighter weight of that hood and aluminum heads though!

My ultimate goal is to have the car turn out well enough and be a good enough
of a driver to enter the CopperState 1000 tour/rally in Arizona. Not sure I
would drive the car from Floirda to Arizona (although I have done that drive in
two unrestored old cars already), but want the car to be enough of a driver
to run 1000 miles in a week!
