I was fortunate to ride around Gatlinburg Tenn. one evening with Jerry in
his Tiger. He was living on the east coast at the time and we were at a
TEAE event. Don't know what size engine he had in it at the time, but he
called it his junk motor. Most impressive were the adjustable traction bars
he had built for it. There was absolutely not wheel spin or hop, the car
just took off.

We cruised the strip for awhile, playing with all the lesser vehicles.
Everywhere we stopped people wanted to know "what's in that thing". We
headed out of town into the mountains following several other Tigers. On a
section of straight road he let the others get a good distance ahead then he
nailed it. A few seconds later he hit the nitrous button and we were off,
closing on the Tiger ahead of us in no time. If we had ramps, it would have
jumped over it. He hit the brakes and there was no front end dive either.

I can definitely say that was the fastest ride I've ever had. If you want
to know how to make a Tiger go fast and stick to the ground, call Jerry.

Jim
