Hi Tony, The two pictures in this link http://www.triumphspitfire.com/allison.html seem to suggest that the purple goes to ground (earth) and the other two go to the coil, red to (+) and black to the (-) side. That's about all I found... the Allison is definitely old-school at this point. It was the first points-replacement ignition I used... back in 1985. Good luck, Theo |
