Tim,

I just spent about an hour in my "tiger library" but couldn't find the
template for those heat shields, but I'm sure someone out there has a copy
of them to send to you. I made mine out of thin stainless steel and polished
them so they look like chrome.

Thanks to all who responded to my question on basses for the Sparto reverse
lights. I think I am on my way to securing a pair.

Today's problem: I have just spent six weeks waiting for the local Classic
Mustang guy to bring in a pair of engine mount heat shields for the stock
260.
He has now informed me they are NLA.

The part No. is C-3DZ-6C038-A. I understand these are required to keep the
rubber cool and presumably act as a shim. How important are these? Are they
obtainable? If not is there a template somewhere that could be used to
manufacure a pair?

Regards,

Tim
