Anyone looked at LEDs?

I'm not far enough along on my resto to look into this yet, but I do intend 
to modernize the entire electrical system with a homemade Teflon insulated 
wire harness, LED lighting and a real fuse/relay setup.  No point in 
spending all of the money to go original only to make a fiery sacrifice to 
the Prince of Darkness.
