Thanks everyone for the helpful suggestions. I have a brand new wiring harness
and a new voltage regulator. I had the first generator rebuilt as a bearing
failed, I then adjusted the belt alignment. After the rebuild, the windings
let loose, showering the engine bay with tiny pieces of copper. I have
another, second, generator and now it barely charges. I will take it to the
rebuilder to see the specific problem.
