So I am looking for 28x44 2mm glass for the Sunbeam Tiger/Alpine back glass
we are going to make. Nobody local has 2mm. There is a picture framer that
has some but not big enough for this project. Guardian Glass was what the
framer had. A fellow named Don posted on another forum about Guardian glass
so I
e-mailed him and he responded with a # to call. I called the # in Ohio and
was told to call the nearest dist in Phoenix. I call Phoenix and was told to
call Kingsberg. I call Kingsberg and YES they make 2mm in the size I want BUT
they only sell by the truckload and no will calls. So they give me a # in So
Cal that is a big buyer of glass from them. I call them and they tell me I
have to call Texas to place an order. Ok I call Texas and lo and behold they
have it and at a very reasonable price. So back glasses coming soon. Clear,
green tint, gray tint and bronze tint available with matching 1/4's. Now a
question, does the top with the pop out 1/4's have a name? Is it factory or
aftermarket? Thanks Lee
