I must admit that when I read the first post about this, I thought it was a
bit of a wind up!! Then everyone seemed to take it so seriously. I've
owned Tigers since 1979 and I've never heard of anyone getting their air
cleaner ripped off at a show or anywhere else. It never occured to me to be
a problem. Has anyone on here actually ever had an air cleaner stolen off
of their Tiger??? Let's face it; the only folks who even have any idea of
what they're worth would be someone who either owns a Tiger or is a true
enthusiast. That pretty much covers everyone like the people on this list,
and I doubt seriously that any of us would be prone to be sticky-fingered
when it came to another person's Tiger air cleaner.

I plan on leaving mine just the way it is with it's factory hold-down nut.
I would be way more concerned with getting the whole car stolen than it's
various bits and pieces.
