George,
I just installed an engine/transmission this way and am sending you some
pictures. As you can see I used a lifting plate attached to the intake
manifold and a balance bar to keep the engine level. The front of the car
was raised to about a 45 degree angle and using a wheeled dolly for the
engine and a transmission dolly for the tranny I rolled the powertrain under
the car. I lowered the car over the engine, working the transmission tail
into the tunnel.
The group cannot see these but anyone else let me know if you would like
these or have any questions.
